shanghai- avoidable! there isn't any entertainment for a common man..

Dibakar banerji, a big name and so obviously big expectations from his new film! Doesn't turn out so.

I.m disappointed by the film- not entertaining!!. The film tries to show the dark part of Indian politics and its influence over beurocracy! How things are Manipulated. The song 'bharat mata ki jay' implies this only. But somehow the approach is not that appealing, not engaging, not involving, & not 'Entertaining'. This we've seen in many films, and that too in a nice manner. E.g. Sarkar- politics with great twist and turn with great individual performance of actors, with effective dialogues and some suggestive shots!

I had a talk with the singer of bharat mata ki song, kirti sagathia, he was happy over the controversy couldn't stop this song to be in the film. Whatever they tried to convey in song is satirical and effective but the film is not.

There are a few scenes, suggestive and well planned dialogues with good pauses and expressions (especially i liked that scene where Farook Sheikh is in his gym- Abhay comes- call comes from CM- and expression of both being captured in two different mirror with one peon too in frame-- the scene tells thousand words), but as i say.. "there isn't any entertainment for a common man.."

So, I'll say, one will be wasting 2hours in sitting cinema hall and 2more hours in regretting after that! !!!!!!

My verdict- 1/5 "Avoidable"

helloo.. today wishing u a very happy environment day! myfm is working on the philosophy of 'say no to plastic bags, use paper bags: they are less harmful'. it was very insightful to distribute these paperbags made by Blind People Association guys, paper contribution by Divyabhaskar and 94.3 MyFM is spreading this message all across.. i went to different places like Jamalpurshak market, Suvidha, Paldi, Vasnaa.. people and vendors were  curious and positive too to the thoght..it was fun interacting with them. will upload pics too soon,,

Rowdy Masalla Rathore!!

what a bollywood viewer wants to see on screen, its full too masala, entertaining actionpacked romantic comedy with too much of laugh, a little tears and lots of fun!! u name it and Rowdy has it!!

its full of all these masala... Shiva(Akshaye) is a small peggy thief- do small thefts for his living- a girl comes in his life (Sonaxi)- some flirting- two romentically dance numbers:-) -and then......... twist comes... -> a small girl comes, calling Akshaye 'papa'!! and the movie takes 180 degrees of twist! then what happens is the movie all about(i won't tell u to spoil your watching-shocking experience!) -and a villian (dangerous and king in a small village)- lot of action (dhishum-dhadamm)- and... you know!!! :-)

will discuss some more points and upload audio review,soon, here only.. for now, tell u rating 3/5 (typical bolly masalla)
